Nicole Mavilia has a Bachelors degree in Biology from Rivier University, and brings a research-oriented analytical mindset to the R&D Team. As Research and Development Scientist, Nicole’s focus includes method development and implementation, chemical safety, and product testing. Key testing and methods that she oversees include Total Dietary Fiber, alpha amylase enzyme, flour solvent retention capacity, starch damage, and peroxidase analysis. Nicole’s skills are an asset to the company’s new ingredient development efforts. She is based out of the Rothwell GrainEssentials Center at the company’s corporate headquarters in Quincy, MA.
