Sean Finnie holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Food Science from the University of Idaho and a PhD in Grain Science from Kansas State University. Previously, he was as a Principal Scientist in the Global Food Technology Group at an international food company, first in the Bakery Technology Group and more recently in the Snacks and Cereal Applications Group. As the Commercial Science Leader at Bay State Milling, Mr. Finnie applies plant-based research and the supporting technology to drive the company’s future innovation. He is based in Quincy, Massachusetts, where he works closely with the R&D, sales and marketing departments. Mr. Finnie is a member of AACC International and is active in the Milling and Baking Division and Professional Development Panel.
