American Institute of Baking
AIB is a not-for-profit corporation, founded by the North American wholesale and retail baking industries in 1919 as a technology transfer center for bakers and food processors. The original mission of the organization was to "put science to work for the baker," and that basic theme is still central to all of the programs, products, and services provided by AIB to baking and general food production industries worldwide.

CHS Incorporated
On June 1, 1998, Cenex, Inc. and Harvest States Cooperatives merged to form CHS Inorporated. Cenex brings to the new organization 1,400 local (federated) petroleum and farm supply cooperatives. Harvest States brings approximately 540 local cooperatives and 44,000 direct farmer-members. The cooperative's unified membership extends from the Upper Midwest, across the Northern, Central and Southern Plains states to the Pacific Northwest.

Colorado Wheat Database
To provide objective yield performance information to Colorado wheat growers, Colorado State University annually conducts dryland winter wheat variety trials at ten eastern Colorado locations and irrigated winter wheat variety trials at two locations.

Kice Industries Inc.
Kice Industries has an exclusive agreement with Kansas State University to produce the Short Flow Mill. Kice Industries is a family owned and operated company that has served the grain milling industry for over 50 years. Although their involvement with the Short Flow Mill has been relatively short, Kice Industries has offered a wide range of air handling, conveying, and processing equipment to the grain processing .

The KSU Department of Grain Science and Industry
Kansas State University's Department of Grain Science is the only academic department in the U.S. that grants Bachelor of Science degrees in baking science, feed science or milling science and management, degrees that prepare you for a rewarding career in the grain processing and utilizing industries. The undergraduate program also offers degree minors in baking science, feed science and cereal chemistry. In addition, interested and qualified students may also go on to receive masters and doctoral degrees in grain science.

Midwest Organic Alliance
The Midwest Organic Alliance is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1995 through a $1.25 million three-year grant from The Pew Charitable Trusts. The mission of the Alliance is to encourage the reduction of harmful agricultural chemicals used in regional food production.

National Baking Center
